2nd batch CHAMPION

second batch of champion for kalingos ruincards project animus

this is a fun set, just like my old works i learned a lot while working on this one,

did a lot of trial and error but "you never really finish a painting, you just stop working on it"

next batch is coming... this time ill try to do a more detailed work.

but i guess ill raise my rates... its bad for the industry... 

and introducing new drafts for next batch.. will try to use more reference

a warm up painting i did before working, trying to capture elspeths face. and practicing a new process.. trying to practice coloring without using BW , im starting to understand colors well need more practice! will start to work on my entry for artorder!

another card i did for runicards animus project. had fun working on this one,  i tried working

on straight to colors instead of working on BWs values first, i learned a lot specially on

working on my values with colors and thanks to jason chans tutorials and brad rigney. 

i like it , teaches me a lot of stuff while im working on it. but still not good enough, still not the style

that im aiming for. i feel like my understanding is not yet enough to give more attention to details.

but im learning a lot of new stuff , every time i finished a painting. 

excited to improve more and more and more and more.... really want to create an IP good enough

for magic the gathering. and BTW excited to do an illustration for

FFG's netrunner...

reworked this barbarian from last post, had a lot of feed back and crits from my fellow crimson daggers family so decided to fix the issues and add some more stuff requested by clients

another card for runicards game animus protector of the 4 seasons. 

i tried a different approach with this one. trying to get out of  my usual

animeish work, really wanted to reach MTGs quality of work.

learned few stuff, tried to use reference this time. really need to move on

so calling this one done. will do better with the next card.

had the chance to overpaint this one, fix some stuff i really wanted to fix but still not enough.... this is frustrating i really wanted to do better
